Mining Quantus on HiveOS
Run Quantus on HiveOS as a custom miner: the wallet, pool URL and miner values a flight sheet needs, and how to confirm it is working.
The honest starting point
HiveOS is a Linux-based mining OS that manages rigs through flight sheets. The Quantus miners we document (PeakMiner, SRBMiner-Multi, BzMiner and WildRig NG) all ship Linux builds, and that is what runs on HiveOS. We do not maintain verified per-miner HiveOS packages, so treat this as a custom-miner setup rather than a one-click integration.
What goes in the flight sheet
However you integrate the miner, the three values are always the same, and the How to Mine page builds them for you:
- Wallet: your Quantus address (qz…).
- Pool URL: your closest region host with port 1155, for example de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 (TLS: the same port with stratum+ssl://).
- Miner: the Linux build of your chosen miner, added through HiveOS's custom miner option, with the exact argument line from the How to Mine generator.
Use the Linux command as your reference
Select Linux on the How to Mine page and copy the full command it produces. Whatever HiveOS asks for in its custom miner form (installation URL, binary name, extra arguments) maps onto the pieces of that one command; follow HiveOS's own custom-miner documentation for the packaging details.
Verify from the pool side
After the flight sheet applies, your worker should appear on your dashboard within a few minutes with its first accepted shares. If it does not, read the miner log on the rig; the worker-offline checklist covers the common causes in order.
