How to choose a Quantus mining pool
Last updated: 4 October 2026
The numbers and qualities worth comparing between Quantus mining pools, with our own current, verifiable answers to hold against any alternative.
How to use this page
This is not an attack page about other pools: every pool's numbers change, and you should read them from each pool's own site. Instead, here are the criteria worth comparing, what to look for, and our own current, verifiable answers so you can hold them against any alternative.
The numbers to compare
- Fee: what the pool keeps from rewards. Here: one flat fee on pool blocks and one on solo blocks, both shown live on the pool statistics, no other charges, and a fee change never applies to blocks already found.
- Payout scheme: how rewards are split. Here: shown on the HeroMiners hub, on the All Pools overview, so you can check it rather than take our word for it. A proportional scheme pays your share of each block the pool finds; PPS+ credits you per share and shares transaction fees on top.
- Payout frequency and minimum: how often and from what balance you get paid. Here: automatically every hour once your confirmed balance reaches the minimum payout shown on the site.
The qualities to compare
- Server proximity: a region close to your rigs keeps stale shares low. Here: servers across Europe, the Americas and Asia, with a latency test that picks the closest for you.
- Registration model: an account is something to secure and something to lose. Here: no account, no sign-up; your wallet address is your login and your payout destination.
- Transparency: whether you can verify what the pool claims. Here: blocks, payments and per-miner stats are public, and every payout is listed on the public Payments page with its transaction hash.
- Connection options: TCP and TLS on the same port, plus alternative routes and proxies for networks where mining domains are blocked.
Whatever you choose
Read the same numbers from any pool's own pages, prefer claims you can verify on-chain over marketing copy, and re-check them occasionally: fees and minimums do change. If a claim cannot be verified anywhere, treat it as absent.
