BzMiner setup for Quantus

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Set up BzMiner for Quantus on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel: the command line for Windows and Linux, keeping the CPU off, and TLS on port 1155.

What BzMiner is good for

BzMiner is a multi-algorithm miner that supports the quantus algorithm on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs and on Intel B-series (Battlemage) cards, on Windows and Linux, with a 2% dev fee on this algorithm. It also has a built-in web dashboard for watching the rig. Download it only from its official GitHub releases page (linked on the How to Mine page).

The command line

The pattern (replace the region and wallet with your own; the How to Mine page fills them in automatically):

Windows
bzminer.exe -a quantus -p stratum+tcp://de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 -w YOUR_QTC_ADDRESS.worker1 --cpu 0
Linux
./bzminer -a quantus -p stratum+tcp://de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 -w YOUR_QTC_ADDRESS.worker1 --cpu 0

The name after the dot in the wallet value is your worker name, which is how the rig appears on your dashboard.

Why --cpu 0

On quantus, BzMiner also mines on the processor unless told not to. Quantus is mined on GPUs, so --cpu 0 keeps the CPU out and the rig responsive. Leave it in the command.

Encrypted connection

Write the pool as stratum+ssl://de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 for an encrypted connection. The port stays 1155: the pool serves plain TCP and TLS on the same port.
